I'm pleased to introduce a new feature series that I will be doing for our group, Independent-Manips (https://www.deviantart.com/independent-manips). This series will highlight some really great DeviantArtists who create photomanipulations from only their own stock photos and resources. This practice is becoming more and more popular in the photomanipulation community; in fact, using your own resources is the wave of the future. It gives the artist a lot more artistic freedom both during the actual creative process and afterward, when it's time to consider whether to sell the art or use it commercially.
